If you have wanted to get into planted tanks, but don’t know where to start, well, you’ve come to the right place! All of our plants are sold in their aquatic forms! THIS IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN US AND OUR COMPETITORS! 95% of aquatic plants are sold in their emersed form (grown out of water). This is why when you buy plants from many places they melt away and die on you! We do all the hard work for you! This means you get the plant you actually wanted in the form it’s supposed to be in. This means NO WASTING MONEY watching your plants melt away and die while trying to convert them to their aquatic forms. You simply pick the plants you want, put them in your tank, and watch them continue to grow!

What you see is what you get!
We don’t believe in showing a picture of a “High Grade Shrimp” then sending our customers low grade shrimp like many shrimp sellers online do. The pictures of our shrimp are “OUR SHRIMP”! The colors you see here are what you will receive. There’s no bait and switch tactics. This means if you buy a High Grade Shrimp you’re guaranteed a “High Grade Shrimp”! With 30 colors to choose from theres no shortage of options!

At Plant Betta we take pride in Breeding our Neocaridina Shrimp in-house! This means we do not just import in shrimp from over seas and resell to you. We have EXTREMELY HIGH quality standards! We Cull any Shrimp that does not meet our standards for high grade. Our Culls then get sold for even cheaper as a $0.50 cent Cull, or if they’re still colorful and good grade they are sold as B-grade Shrimp for $2.00 each. Our B-grade shrimp are most sellers A-grade shrimp. We have such high standards for our high grade Shrimp. Anything that doesn’t line up with what we try to keep as high grade instantly becomes a B-grade or Cull.
Since we breed our shrimp in-house we can guarantee none have parasites! Often when shrimp are imported and then resold you will get shrimp that have a parasite on or in them. This can be devastating to get into your tank! This is why we’ve taken the time to remove any shrimp that may have ever had anything before deciding to breed them to be sold. Since we selectively breed our shrimp by taking the 20 best shrimp and letting those breed out into new shrimp to sell and repeating that process theres no way Parasites can get into our setups. All our tanks are fully segregated setups. Each shrimp (color/type) tank has its own Sponge Filter, Substrate, Moss, and net for catching. This means theres no cross contamination by using different nets to catch various shrimp out of different tanks.

When it comes to quality and health theres more than what you see on the surface!
Our shrimp are fed the absolute best in shrimp foods only! We feed the Shrimp Envy line of food which is 99% ORGANIC! It’s actually food you can read the names of lol! Theres no fillers, preservatives, etc. This is the real food! This is the food you want to keep your shrimps healthy and happy! If you feed your shrimp the cheap junk you get from a big box store that is full of fillers you’re just asking to have an unhealthy shrimp that probably won’t live long. If you eat McDonalds every meal would you be healthy? No, you wouldn’t! So don’t feed your shrimp junk big box store foods! We sell the same shrimp foods we feed so check them out!
Our Shrimp are given a water change anytime the tank exceed 15-20 ppm of Nitrates. This ensures we never have a high nitrate environment that could damage the health of our shrimp!
Age of shrimp we sell are Juvenile with a mix of a couple adults. Juveniles are 1/2” or slightly bigger. Adults can be 1” - 1 1/4” size. We don’t like selling adults because theres no telling how old they’re. There’s no reason to send a customer a bunch of old shrimp that may be in there last few days. The young shrimp we sell are able to handle water parameter fluctuations easier. They are younger so you can enjoy watching them grow in your tank for a long time! If you order 10 or more shrimp we may throw in a couple adults just so you have some that are of breeding age and will hopefully help you get a bigger colony going faster!
